海外最先端のアイディア・インスピレーション動画を得られる7つのサイト（"Mashable"より）

先日に引き続きいつも斬新なアイディアを提供してくれるブログサイト”Mashable“よりご案内

題して「Top 7 Places to Watch Great Minds in Action」

このサイトでも何度も触れたことがあり、最近では東京でもローカル版イベントが開催されたTED（Technology, Entertainment, and Design)は筆頭格でランクイン、他のサイトもTEDのスタイルをモデルにしながら無料で良質なコンテンツを提供してくれているところが特徴です。

国の首相から科学者、アーティスト、思想家、起業家までとにかく分野を問わない「Great Mind」のインスピレーションを高品質の動画で無料で提供されていて、とにかく広い視点、深い考察、熱い情熱・行動力、そして想いが伝わってきます。

残念ながら、プレゼンテーションは全て英語（長くて20分程度）です。中でもTEDは字幕がついていて、例えばアラビア語、韓国語、フランス語等で視聴することが可能です。英語での字幕を見ながら語学学習するには素晴らしい学習教材になるのでは、と思ってます。
夏休みの「読書」と併せて、「動画視聴」も是非試してみてはいかがでしょうか。下記、簡単なコメントと併せておススメの動画を1本ずつご紹介♪

開催場所：ロングビーチ（カルフォルニア）、オックスフォード（英国）（まもなマイソール（インド）でも開催
概要：1984年に開始され、現在は年に3回の開催、分野を超え、影響力・創造力を持ったスピーカーが集まる。いち早く動画を無料開放したことで創造的なアイディアを求める世界中の人が数多く訪れるサイトとなっている。

ポップ・テックとは・・・アメリカ、メイン州カムデンというところにある、19世紀式オペラハウスで開催される、1996年から毎年開催されている国際会議。テクノロジーが文化にどのようにな影響を与えるか、また文化がテクノロジーにどのような影響を与えるか、などのテーマを、学生、CEO、ベンチャー投資家、ブロガー、活動家、科学者、思想家たち約650人がプレゼンテーション、議論を通じ、将来の展望のために３日間集い、語るカンファレンス。

毎年米国ロードアイランド州のプロビデンスで開催される、会議というよりは「会話」を重視したイノベーターが集まる300人規模のイベント。5年目になる今年の共同司会は「マーベリックカンパニー」著者ビル・テイラー氏、参加者にはデジタル「ウィキノミクス」、「ネイティブが世界を変える」の著者ダン・タプスコット氏等。イベント案内の動画はこちら　(右側のバナーをクリック）（2分30秒）

    Now feeling the quiet pleasure of finding writing that takes itself seriously without being self serious, and a stop at learnsomethingnewtoday extended that subtle pleasure, the gap between earnest and pretentious is fine and this site has clearly chosen to land on the earnest side without slipping over into pretentious which is impressive.

    A handful of memorable phrases from this one I will probably use later, and a look at everydaystylemarket added a couple more, content that contributes language to my own communication rather than just facts is content with a different kind of utility and this site is providing that linguistic utility consistently across what I read.

    Generally my attention drifts on long posts but this one held it through the end, and a stop at nexshelf earned the same sustained focus, content that defeats my drift tendency is content with substantive pulling power and this site has demonstrated that pulling power across multiple pieces in a session that has now run quite long actually.

    Bookmark added in three places to make sure I do not lose the link, and a look at happyfindshub got the same redundant treatment, sites I am afraid to lose are the rare keepers and this is clearly one of them based on what I have read so far across this and a couple of related posts.

    Speaking from the perspective of having read widely on the topic this site offers something distinct, and a look at yourpathforward reinforced that distinctness, the rare site that contributes something genuinely original to a saturated topic is the rare site worth following carefully and this one has demonstrated that original contribution capability today.

    Now feeling that this site is the kind I want to make sure does not disappear, and a look at dailytrendmarket reinforced that quiet protective feeling, the rare sites whose disappearance would actually matter to me are the sites I want to support through return visits and recommendations and this one has joined that small protected list.
