海外最先端のアイディア・インスピレーション動画を得られる7つのサイト（"Mashable"より）
先日に引き続きいつも斬新なアイディアを提供してくれるブログサイト”Mashable“よりご案内
題して「Top 7 Places to Watch Great Minds in Action」
このサイトでも何度も触れたことがあり、最近では東京でもローカル版イベントが開催されたTED（Technology, Entertainment, and Design)は筆頭格でランクイン、他のサイトもTEDのスタイルをモデルにしながら無料で良質なコンテンツを提供してくれているところが特徴です。
国の首相から科学者、アーティスト、思想家、起業家までとにかく分野を問わない「Great Mind」のインスピレーションを高品質の動画で無料で提供されていて、とにかく広い視点、深い考察、熱い情熱・行動力、そして想いが伝わってきます。
残念ながら、プレゼンテーションは全て英語（長くて20分程度）です。中でもTEDは字幕がついていて、例えばアラビア語、韓国語、フランス語等で視聴することが可能です。英語での字幕を見ながら語学学習するには素晴らしい学習教材になるのでは、と思ってます。

開催場所：ロングビーチ（カルフォルニア）、オックスフォード（英国）（まもなマイソール（インド）でも開催
概要：1984年に開始され、現在は年に3回の開催、分野を超え、影響力・創造力を持ったスピーカーが集まる。いち早く動画を無料開放したことで創造的なアイディアを求める世界中の人が数多く訪れるサイトとなっている。

ポップ・テックとは・・・アメリカ、メイン州カムデンというところにある、19世紀式オペラハウスで開催される、1996年から毎年開催されている国際会議。テクノロジーが文化にどのようにな影響を与えるか、また文化がテクノロジーにどのような影響を与えるか、などのテーマを、学生、CEO、ベンチャー投資家、ブロガー、活動家、科学者、思想家たち約650人がプレゼンテーション、議論を通じ、将来の展望のために３日間集い、語るカンファレンス。
