海外最先端のアイディア・インスピレーション動画を得られる7つのサイト（"Mashable"より）

先日に引き続きいつも斬新なアイディアを提供してくれるブログサイト”Mashable“よりご案内

題して「Top 7 Places to Watch Great Minds in Action」

このサイトでも何度も触れたことがあり、最近では東京でもローカル版イベントが開催されたTED（Technology, Entertainment, and Design)は筆頭格でランクイン、他のサイトもTEDのスタイルをモデルにしながら無料で良質なコンテンツを提供してくれているところが特徴です。

国の首相から科学者、アーティスト、思想家、起業家までとにかく分野を問わない「Great Mind」のインスピレーションを高品質の動画で無料で提供されていて、とにかく広い視点、深い考察、熱い情熱・行動力、そして想いが伝わってきます。

残念ながら、プレゼンテーションは全て英語（長くて20分程度）です。中でもTEDは字幕がついていて、例えばアラビア語、韓国語、フランス語等で視聴することが可能です。英語での字幕を見ながら語学学習するには素晴らしい学習教材になるのでは、と思ってます。
夏休みの「読書」と併せて、「動画視聴」も是非試してみてはいかがでしょうか。下記、簡単なコメントと併せておススメの動画を1本ずつご紹介♪

開催場所：ロングビーチ（カルフォルニア）、オックスフォード（英国）（まもなマイソール（インド）でも開催
概要：1984年に開始され、現在は年に3回の開催、分野を超え、影響力・創造力を持ったスピーカーが集まる。いち早く動画を無料開放したことで創造的なアイディアを求める世界中の人が数多く訪れるサイトとなっている。

ポップ・テックとは・・・アメリカ、メイン州カムデンというところにある、19世紀式オペラハウスで開催される、1996年から毎年開催されている国際会議。テクノロジーが文化にどのようにな影響を与えるか、また文化がテクノロジーにどのような影響を与えるか、などのテーマを、学生、CEO、ベンチャー投資家、ブロガー、活動家、科学者、思想家たち約650人がプレゼンテーション、議論を通じ、将来の展望のために３日間集い、語るカンファレンス。

    Worth your time, that is the simplest endorsement I can give, and a stop at trendmarketzone extends that endorsement across the rest of the site, this is one of those increasingly rare places that delivers on what it promises rather than over selling the content and under delivering on substance every time which I find frustrating elsewhere.

    Reading more of the archives is now on my plan for the weekend, and a stop at newgrovehorizon confirmed the archive worth the time, the rare archive worth a dedicated reading session rather than just casual sampling is the rare archive of serious work and this site has clearly produced enough of that work to warrant the deeper exploration.

    A piece that did not lean on the writer credentials or institutional backing, and a look at keencluster maintained the same focus on substance, content that earns trust through quality rather than through name dropping is the kind I find most persuasive and this site is clearly playing on the substance side of that distinction.

    Bookmarked the page and the homepage too because clearly there is more to explore here, and a quick stop at larkcliff only made that more obvious, this is the kind of place I want to dig through over a weekend rather than rushing through during a coffee break tomorrow morning before getting back to work.
