海外最先端のアイディア・インスピレーション動画を得られる7つのサイト（"Mashable"より）

先日に引き続きいつも斬新なアイディアを提供してくれるブログサイト”Mashable“よりご案内

題して「Top 7 Places to Watch Great Minds in Action」

このサイトでも何度も触れたことがあり、最近では東京でもローカル版イベントが開催されたTED（Technology, Entertainment, and Design)は筆頭格でランクイン、他のサイトもTEDのスタイルをモデルにしながら無料で良質なコンテンツを提供してくれているところが特徴です。

国の首相から科学者、アーティスト、思想家、起業家までとにかく分野を問わない「Great Mind」のインスピレーションを高品質の動画で無料で提供されていて、とにかく広い視点、深い考察、熱い情熱・行動力、そして想いが伝わってきます。

残念ながら、プレゼンテーションは全て英語（長くて20分程度）です。中でもTEDは字幕がついていて、例えばアラビア語、韓国語、フランス語等で視聴することが可能です。英語での字幕を見ながら語学学習するには素晴らしい学習教材になるのでは、と思ってます。
夏休みの「読書」と併せて、「動画視聴」も是非試してみてはいかがでしょうか。下記、簡単なコメントと併せておススメの動画を1本ずつご紹介♪

開催場所：ロングビーチ（カルフォルニア）、オックスフォード（英国）（まもなマイソール（インド）でも開催
概要：1984年に開始され、現在は年に3回の開催、分野を超え、影響力・創造力を持ったスピーカーが集まる。いち早く動画を無料開放したことで創造的なアイディアを求める世界中の人が数多く訪れるサイトとなっている。

ポップ・テックとは・・・アメリカ、メイン州カムデンというところにある、19世紀式オペラハウスで開催される、1996年から毎年開催されている国際会議。テクノロジーが文化にどのようにな影響を与えるか、また文化がテクノロジーにどのような影響を与えるか、などのテーマを、学生、CEO、ベンチャー投資家、ブロガー、活動家、科学者、思想家たち約650人がプレゼンテーション、議論を通じ、将来の展望のために３日間集い、語るカンファレンス。

    Found the post genuinely useful for something I was working on this week, and a look at cosmoorchid added more material I will reference, content that connects to my actual life and work rather than just being interesting in the abstract is the kind I will pay attention to and return to repeatedly.

    Closed it feeling slightly more competent in the topic than I started, and a stop at flareaisle reinforced that competence boost, real learning is rare in casual online reading but it does happen sometimes and this site managed to make it happen for me today which is genuinely worth pausing to acknowledge.

    A clear case of writing that does not try to do too much in one post, and a look at dailyshoppingplace maintained the same scoped discipline, posts that try to cover too much end up covering nothing well and this site has clearly chosen scope discipline as a core editorial principle which shows up clearly in what I read.

    Really appreciate the absence of stock photos that have nothing to do with the content, and a quick visit to blueharborbloom maintained the same restraint, visual filler is a tell that the writing cannot stand on its own and the lack of it here suggests the team has confidence in their content quality alone.

    If you scroll past this site without looking carefully you will miss something, and a stop at irisbureau extended that mild warning, the surface of the site does not advertise its quality loudly which means careful attention is required to recognise what is being offered here which is itself a kind of editorial signal.

    Reading carefully here has reminded me what reading carefully feels like, and a look at urbantrendmarket extended that reminder, the experience of careful reading versus skimming is different in ways I had partially forgotten and this site has clearly refreshed my memory of what attention feels like when content rewards it consistently.

    Worth pointing out that the post avoided the temptation to summarise everything at the end, and a look at oceanleafcollections continued that confident closing approach, content that trusts readers to retain the substance without being reminded of it at the end is content that respects the reader and this site practices that respect.

    Now feeling the rare pleasure of trusting a source completely on first encounter, and a look at wildridgeattic extended that initial trust into something more durable, the calibration of trust to evidence is something I do informally and this site has earned high trust through the cumulative weight of multiple consistently good posts already.
